Diana Capital acquires a 46% stake in Aurora Intelligent Nutrition to accelerate the growth of Spain leading functional nutrition company
The Spanish private equity firm completes the fourth investment of its third fund, acquiring a 46% stake in the Seville based company through a capital increase to support its next phase of growth.
Aurora Intelligent Nutrition generated EUR 43 million in revenue in 2025, up 20% year on year, and exports more than 40% of its production of nutrition bars, food supplements, gummies and gels to international markets.
The new capital will be used to expand production capacity, accelerate process automation and pursue selective acquisitions. The company currently employs more than 300 people.

Diana Capital, the Spanish private equity firm specialising in supporting the growth of mid market companies, has reached an agreement to acquire a stake in Aurora Intelligent Nutrition, the Seville based market leader in the development and manufacture of high value added functional food and nutritional supplements for third parties as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO).
The transaction will be carried out through a capital increase, following which Diana Capital will hold a 46% stake in the company, while the founding family will retain the remaining shareholding.
The investment will provide Aurora with additional resources to accelerate its business plan through investments aimed at expanding production capacity, increasing process automation and strengthening its operational capabilities in order to meet the rapidly growing demand for functional nutrition products. The transaction also contemplates the execution of selective acquisitions of complementary businesses to support the company’s inorganic growth strategy.
Founded in Seville and employing more than 300 people, Aurora Intelligent Nutrition has established itself as one of the leading European CDMOs in the functional nutrition market, manufacturing nutrition bars, food supplements, gummies, gels and other specialised products. The company has built its position through a continuous commitment to quality, innovation and industrial excellence.
In 2025, Aurora generated revenue of EUR 43 million, representing year on year growth of 20%, while exporting more than 40% of its production to international markets.
The investment represents the fourth transaction completed by Diana Capital III FCR, a EUR 180 million fund, further reinforcing the firm’s strategy of partnering with outstanding management teams and supporting businesses with strong growth prospects operating in attractive markets.
