In 2004, Diana Capital invested a minority stake in Grupo Recyde, a company dedicated to the machining, finishing and assembly of high value added parts, mainly for the automotive and household appliance manufacturing sectors.
Value Creation
Diana Capital shared the vision of driving the company’s growth both organically and through acquisitions. From Diana Capital’s initial entry until its exit in February 2007, the company experienced significant growth. The number of production plants increased from 6 to 10, and internationalisation was intensified through the acquisition of 2 companies in the Czech Republic. In addition, two other companies were acquired in Spain, one of them dedicated to aluminium smelting, thus diversifying the Group’s main steel business.
Recyde Group is currently part of CIE Automotive, a publicly listed automotive components group.
